Eddye was blessed with a large and loving family. She is preceded in death by Willie Townsend. Eddye raised her five children with discipline, strength, and a love of God. From the very beginning, she dedicated her children to God and encouraged them to explore the beauty of the gospels.

Eddye had an open heart and an open home. Her entire life she put her love of God and family first. Eddye was a strong and audacious woman who let her opinion be known. All whom loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, and generosity.
