Eddie Wayne Snider, 74, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born February 21, 1947, in Lafayette to the late William Alford and Lucille (Griffis) Snider. He was a graduate of Southwestern High School and proudly served in the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. Eddie worked as a Supervisor for the Waste-Water Treatment Plant in Orange County, FL. On June 10, 2000, Eddie married Karen Louise Hughey and she survives.
Eddie enjoyed golfing, spending time with family, and driving his John Deere. He was a member of American Legion Post #451.
Along with his wife, Karen, he is survived by 2 children, Eric Snider and Amy (Les) Weeks of Cocoa, FL; 3 grandchildren, Ashton Jade Snider, Zane Washburn, and April Weeks, all of Cocoa, FL; 3 step-sons, Johnny (Nancy) Hughey of Charleston, SC, Matthew (Christine) Hughey of Orlando, FL, and Jason (Sara) Hughey of Auburndale, FL; 8 step-grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Harold Snider and Rick Snider; sister, Dolores Flynn; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Snider.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille; a brother, Dennis Snider; sister-in-law, Sandy Snider; and brother-in-law Oakley Flynn.
