Eddie Moore, 76, of Columbia, died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at his home.
He was born March 3, 1941 in Miami, MO to Eddie and Orah (Donovan) Moore.
Prior to retirement Eddie owned and operated Eddie Moore Mechanical Service, Inc., a heating, air conditioning and ventilation service in Columbia, MO.
He married Velma Robertson on August 1, 1959 in Moberly, MO and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his children; Terry Schondelmeyer and husband Bill of Boonville, MO and Tanya Clatterbuck and husband Tom of Ashland, MO, three grandchildren, Tara Shirer and husband Josh, Seth Clatterbuck and wife Mallory and Trevor Clatterbuck and wife Ginny, two great-grandchildren, Rhett Clatterbuck and Elle Shirer, a sister, Wanda Reeves and husband Bob of Clark, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Gayanna Bohlmeyer whom he thought of as a family member.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Gabriel Lynch, Richard “Frank” and Charles Eugene Moore and two sisters, Betty “Sue” Acton and Gladys Miskimmon.
Eddie enjoyed his angus cattle, tractor pulling, hunting, fishing, working in his shop and visiting his Amish community friends, but the greatest joy in his life was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
