Ebrahim Kazemi, also known as Ebi Kazemi of Colorado Springs, passed away on July 13, 2017. He was born on February 2, 1960 in Tehran, Iran. He immigrated to the United States in 1978 to pursue his education and career. Ebi graduated from Wichita State University in 1984 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He became a Registered Professional Engineer in state of Colorado.
Ebi started his career in Kansas City with a utility company that eventually became Black Hills Corporation. He moved up through the ranks within the company first as an Engineer and later becoming an Engineering Manager. He worked for the company both in Kansas City and Pueblo for the past 30 years.
Ebi married Ana in October 1996 and they have two boys. He was a beloved father and husband who adored his family. He was an accomplished cook and loved spending time outdoors with his family and friends camping, fishing, skiing and hiking.
Ebi is survived by his wife Ana, his sons Kian, 15, and Comron, 12, one brother and four sisters.
