He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Alice Young King; two children, Tawanda (Correy) Simpson, Decatur, and Roderick King of Atlanta, GA; two stepdaughters, Kimberly (Mark) Lockett, Hartselle, AL and Karen (Kelvin) Carlyle, Atlanta, GA; four brothers, Robert (Teresa) Woods of Decatur, James (Pat) Woods of New Jersey, Percy (Willie) Jones of Chattanooga, TN and Hershey King of Courtland, AL; two sisters, Mary Ann Woods of Oakland, CA and Elnater Malone of Decatur; two granddaughters, three step grandsons, Taneisha, Shakori, Kyle, Seth and Kanaan, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
