Earlene Fern Adler, 81, died Tuesday, November 30, after a courageous battle with cancer.  She slipped away peacefully, surrounded by the ones she loved in the comfort of her own home. Earlene was born in Morrison, Oklahoma to her parents, Elza and Agnes Henderson on December 29, 1928.  She married the love of her life, Robert Lee Adler on November 1, 1947 and together they started a family in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  On November 9, 1950 Earlene gave birth to their daughter, Deborah Lynn (Adler) Volz and on January 24, 1954 their second child, a son, Stephen Gregg Adler was born. They moved to Anadarko, Oklahoma in 1950 where they remained for 10 years at which time they moved to Mooreland Oklahoma where Robert became superintendent of construction and operation for Western Farmers Electric Co-operative generating station.  Upon retirement, in 1984, the Adlers moved to Caldwell, Idaho where they remained to date.  Earlene is survived by a large family including her husband Robert, daughter Debby and husband LeRoy of La Quinta, California, son Steve and wife Paula of Parker, Colorado  grandchildren Robert Volz, Vanessa (Volz) Williams and husband Brian, Kristopher Adler, Jennifer Adler, Amanda (Adler) Scherdin and husband Jeff, Great-grandchildren, Tara Lila Williams, Siddha Mae Williams and Avery Noel Scherdin; sister Mary Webb, brothers Jim and James Henderson all of Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
