Earl W. Kizine, age 76, died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Broomfield Skilled Nursing.
Earl was the youngest of 7 children had by Willie and Viola Kizine. He was born in Junction City, Kansas on Fort Riley Military Base.
While he had a brief stay in California, the majority of his life was spent in Kansas City, Missouri and his latter days in Longmont, Colorado.
Content with enjoying the simple things in life, Earl was a dedicated hardworking father. He was adept at many things such as automobile repair, upholstery, and home remodeling. However, woodworking became his passion. He built elaborate workshops where he would use his talents to create exquisite items such as wooden lamps, jewelry boxes, mirrors, music speakers, and incense holders. The creativity was unlimited.
Earl loved his relaxing time. He was an aircraft pilot and enjoyed many hours of “flight time” on small engine planes. He especially enjoyed fishing and other hobbies such as photography, automobile restoration and listening to some good ole blues and jazz music. As far as sports, he was the biggest fan ever of the Pittsburgh Steelers and NY Yankees!
He leaves behind four beautiful daughters produced by the union with Carolyn Kizine: Adriene Tillman (Willie) Washington State, Andrea Brown (Eugene) Longmont, CO, Shawn Hotch (Norman) Mesquite, Nevada and Melanie Kizine (Kansas City, MO); six grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a brother, Warren Kizine; sister, Betty Brown and brother-in-law, Lee Brown (Kansas City MO), sister Geraldine Solomon (Kansas City MO), as well as a host of beloved nephews and nieces. He will be missed by all; including his very close friends at St Joseph’s Place!
“Truly A Life Well Lived”
We’re very confident he’s resting peacefully in the arms of God!!
