Earl Stanley Robinson was born on Jan. 27, 1961 in Jackson to the late Ollie Gordon and Queen Esther Gordon. He departed this life Dec. 12, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care in Huntsville.
Earl made his home in Huntsville and was an active member of Saint Barley Primitive Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir. He was a member of the Jackson High School graduating class of 1980. Following high school, Earl served in the Army for three years and later earned college degrees in Accounting and Machinery. He retired from Dunlop Tires and as able to fully enjoy his hobbies, which included shooting pool and watching Alabama football.
Many wonderful memories will be in the hearts of his family, whom he loved very much.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John W. Gordon and three sisters, Meliany Gordon, Daphane Robinson and Cheryl Gordon.
Cherishing his memories is his loving and devoted wife, Vickie Hannon Robinson of Huntsville; stepson, Demarquis Donald of Keizer, Ore.; grandson, Deante Donald of Atlanta, Ga.; four brothers, Dennis (Doris) Robinson of Ocala, Fla., Gerald Gordon and Eddie Lee (Debbie) Gordon, both of Huntsville and Jack (Lisa) Gordon of Jackson, Miss.; two sisters, Katrina Robinson of Miami, Fla., and Bettie (Glenn) Williams of Jackson; uncles, Tony Johnson of Jackson, Jerry (Rosalind) Johnson of Austell, Ga., and Gregory (Ovetta) Johnson of Huntsville; aunts, Mildred Beck, Louise Parker and Marion Watkins, all of Jackson, Della (Lawrence) Wright of Compton, Calif., Dorothy (Charles) Hicks of Cerritos, Calif., and Martha (J.C.) Steward of State Line, Miss.; sisters-in-law, Johnnie Etan and Attie (James) Smith, both of Miami, Fla., Betty (Abraham) Bryant of Lawrenceville, Ga., Jowanna Darrington of Birmingham and Cynthia Wilson of Huntsville; brothers-in-law, Willie (Jackie) Malone of Homestead, Fla., and Alfred (Teresa) Hannon Jr. of Salem, Ore.; with a host of nieces and nephews, two of whom he held a special admiration for, Corey and Kourtney Gordon, other relatives and friends.
