DURHAM- Mr. Earl Russell Yow, Jr., 80, passed away Saturday May 13, 2017 at Hock Family Pavilion.
Mr. Yow was born March 16, 1937 in Oxford, NC. Mr. Yow served in the National Guard and then worked with IBM as the Lead Central Utility Plant Technician. He worked for IBM for 52 years. Mr. Yow loved woodworking and was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Mr. Yow is preceded in death by his wife, Judith B. Yow; son, Russell Lynn Yow and wife Pam; parents, Earl and Grace Yow, Sr.
Mr. Yow is survived by his son, Kenneth Earl Yow of Durham; granddaughters, Ashley and Erica Lynn Yow.m. Tim Wheeler.m.
