Earl Raymond Hills, Sr., 84, of Middletown, husband of the late Bessie (Hall) Hills, passed away on Tuesday, February 22nd at Hartford Hospital. Born in Portland, he was the son of the late Edward and Grace (Hill) Hills. Earl lived in Middletown all of his life, was a plumber by trade and was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his son, Earl R. Hills, Jr. of Middletown; five daughters, Leila Shea and her husband Paul, of Mansfield, Dianne Dykas and her husband Steve, of Middletown, Donna Parenti and her husband Robin, of Chaplin, Lisa Chrzanowski and her husband Stan, of Haddam, and Amy Platt and her husband T.C., of Goshen, NH; three brothers, Ed, Bill, and Sonny; four sisters, Dottie, Violet, Bette, and Ruth and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his son, David, and his sister, Evelyn.
