Earl L. Stone, 90, Anderson, passed away on July 28, 2021. He was born on April 16, 1931, in Independence, MO, the son of Francis and Mattie (Stapleton) Stone.
He served in the Air Force and National Guard and was stationed in California and Alaska.
Earl retired from General Motors after more than 30 years of service.
He enjoyed golf and fishing. Earl’s highest priority in his life was his family and extended family.
Earl was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis May Stone, his parents, four brothers, and one sister.
He is survived by his children, Randy L. Stone (Elizabeth), Anderson, and Bruce A. Stone (Jena), Keithville, LA; his grandchildren, Heather Rudicil, Nicholas Stone, Megan Morgan, Skylar Carr, Stella Carr, Kirstin Stone, Brant Stone, Savannah Lawrence, Alyssa Couture, and Brianna Lawrence; his great-grandchildren, Teddy, Olivia, Carson, Seth, Trey, Zackary, Matthew, Blaise, and Emerson; his sister, Marge Snyder, Noblesville, and his companion for the last eight years, Phyllis Lane, Anderson.
