Mr. Earl Howard was born February 15, 1929 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Johnnie Mae Howard and Earl H. Howard Sr.
In 1954, he moved to Chicago, Illinois. He married Juanita Knox who preceded him in death. To this union three sons were born, Earl Henry Howard III, Wayne Gregory Howard and Wesley Howard. He later married Lucy Lee Davenport in 1971, who also preceded him in death.
To this union two daughters were born, Karen Marie Howard and Portia Davenport Howard.
He retired from TSC Ferrite International of Woodsworth, IL and was a close friend of the owner Temple Smith, Jr. He was affectionately known to him as “Tim”.
After a lengthy illness, he moved to Decatur, AL in April 2015 and was cared for by his daughter Karen, until his passing on June 4, 2015.
He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Karen Howard (Owen Draper); sons, Earl Henry Howard III (Linda), Wayne Gregory Howard (Stephanie) and Wesley Howard (Pearl); devoted grandson, Marcus Earl Howard; grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
