Earl George Oshier, 78, of Anderson, passed away on June 23, 2016 at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born on July 23, 1937 in Anderson, where he resided most of his life. Earl graduated from Anderson High School in 1955. He retired from Guide Lamp after several years of service. He was locally known as an artist, where he loved to paint. Earl especially loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Gisela (Denzler) Oshier; children, Mark Oshier of Carmel, Sylvia (Mark) Runningen of Noblesville; grandchildren, Sam, Gwen, Max, and Stella Runningen, and Tristan and Izabelle Oshier.
Also surviving are his brothers, Leonard Oshier, Larry Oshier, and Danny Oshier, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Hilda Oshier; and siblings, Richard Oshier, William Oshier, and Betty Oshier.
