Earl Duke Gerholdt, 57, of Anderson, passed away on August 5, 2015 at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on September 18, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Earl graduated from Monrovia High School in 1977. He then served his country in the US Army. He worked for Dave’s Express Lube on Nichol Ave. in Anderson. He loved to collect guns, watch John Wayne’s western movies, and go hunting. Earl is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Sabrina (Copeland) Gerholdt, son, Michael (Valerie) Gerholdt of Indianapolis; step-sons, Cody Baker and Adam (Teresa) Baker; two granddaughters, Adelaide and Hannah; siblings, Floyd (Dawn) Gerholdt, Lloyd (Barb) Gerholdt, John Gerholdt, Lory (Kinnie) Eastridge, and Peggy Gerholdt; in-laws, Doug and Ramona Copeland; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Jennifer Copeland; niece, Mollie Copeland, and several other nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his good friends, Randy Penrod and Eric Everitt. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Gerholdt; mother, Elizabeth Gerholdt; son, Garth Gerholdt; and brother, Ben Gerholdt.
