He was retired as a Welder at Gulf State in New Orleans, LA. Mr. Shirley is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Redina Kinchen; two brothers, George Shirley, Johnny Shirley; two sisters, Ora Mae Fagan, Mildred Beckman; grandson, R. J. Wigginton. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Maudie L.
