Earl Anthony Roberson was born on September 30, 1961, in Los Angeles, California to his parents, Jennie Hudson and Willie Roberson. He was affectionately called “Anthony” by family and friends. He was the younger of two siblings, Melvin and Debra. As a kid, Anthony was always breaking apart different things; you name could break it and put it back together. His siblings fondly remember him trading his toys for one of theirs but once he broke it he would ask to trade it back. Anthony received his early education in Denver and he graduated from George Washington High School. After graduation, he relocated to Dallas, Texas where he furthered his education by attending culinary school which was the start of his career as a chef. Anthony had a great passion for cooking.
