E. Ruth Crist, 80, of Cemetery Road, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at The Gatehouse Hospice following an illness.
Ruth’s husband of 59 years, Carl E. Crist, died May 4, 2008.
Ruth loved animals especially her four indoor cats. She fed and cared for numerous outdoor cats and kittens over the years that were homeless.
Born February 18, 1931 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Walter and Tressa Wesley Bryan.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Ruth was predeceased by brothers, John Bryan and Walter Bryan Jr. and a sister, Helen Edwards.
