E. Robert Young died Monday September 21, 2015 at the Masonic Home of NJ in Burlington Twp. at the age of 90. Mr. Young was born in Trenton, NJ and a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School. He was a navy veteran of World War II, participating in the invasion of Normandy on D-Day. He retired in 1981 from the Willingboro Post Office.
He was proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed traveling to Ireland as well as many destinations in the United States. He will always be remembered by those who knew him for his Irish wit and humor.
Robert was predeceased by his parents Carroll and Anastasia (nee O’Brien) Young and his brother and sister-in-law M. Donald and Joan Young. He is survived by his wife B. Bernice “Bunny” Young, nephew Michael (Marleen) Young, niece Barbara (Roger) James, nephew William Young, niece Kathie (Glen) Weber, niece Barbara (Robert) Hansman and cousin Ellen (Louis) Iuliucci.
