E. Raymond Simpson, Jr., age 82 of Monroe, formerly of Fairfield, beloved husband of 58 years of Dianne Curtis Simpson, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 in his home. Born in Melrose, MA the son of the late Edward Raymond Simpson, Sr. and Arlene Esther Simpson, he was raised in Winchester, MA and moved to Fairfield in 1977. He received an Accounting Degree from Bentley College, a business degree from Suffolk University and his MBA from Babson College. Mr. Simpson then earned his CPA. He worked for many years for the Financial Accounting Standards Board, a career he loved and thrived in.
