E. Charlene Petry, 84, of Catonsville, passed away on January 2, 2017. She was born on June 18, 1932 in Nashville, TN to the late Charles and Elsie Solley. Charlene was a substitute teacher for Anne Arundel County, a clerk at the MVA and a bank teller for Bank of America. She belonged to the Red Hat Society. Charlene enjoyed BINGO and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip “Pete” Petry; and her brother, Kenneth Solley. She is survived by her children, Patti Petry (Alan Bollinger), Michael Petry (Susan), and Philip Luther Petry (Judith); her sister, Margaret McDonald (Wayne); her grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth and Matthew Bollinger; her nieces, Peggie Solley and Pam Abbott (Ray).
