DWAYNE TROYNELL ADAMS, was the sixth of nine children born onAugust 5, 1960 to the late Dorothy Martin Adams and Roland AdamsSr. of McDonoghville, Louisiana. He attended All Saints Catholic Churchwhere he received Holy Communion and Confirmation.

He lived most of his life in Gretna and New Orleans, Louisiana. Troynell, as he wasmost often called, was a Gentle Giant among family and friends. Hewas very kind-hearted and made sure to help anyone he encountered.His “Mama” was his hero and biggest cheerleader.

Dwayne adored his sisters, and cherished his brothers; and always sought advice from hisMother and big sister Pat. He loved his hometown of Gretna and wasan incredibly good cook. He cooked all the southern favorites like roast,turkey necks, cabbage, pigtails, greens, cornbread, and yams.

He loved sports, especially FOOTBALL. He was a fierce New Orleans Saints andPittsburgh Steelers fan. Dwayne attended L. B. Landry High School, graduated from O.P. Walker HighSchool, and attended Southern University for Broadcast Services. He worked for several companiesthroughout his years. After hurricane Katrina in 2005, Dwayne relocated to Memphis, Tennessee wherehe dedicated his time to serving clients at Jenn-Care Inc. and M & M Building Care. In October 2020, herelocated to Houston, Tx. to be closer to his family.

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, Dwayne was called home by his Heavenly Father to join our mama andsister to be in the presence of our Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Martin & RolandAdams Sr. (deceased) and sister, Donna Ann Adams Smith (deceased); Dwayne’s life will be rememberedby the loved ones he leaves to mourn him; 6 Sisters: Patricia Adams Lambert (Howard); Rhonda AdamsBentley (David-deceased); Christine Adams Martin (Anthony-deceased); Melinda Adams Billy (Darren Sr.);Lisa Adams Ward; and Synthia Ann Kennedy (Daitrone-deceased); 2 Brothers: Joseph George Adams, Sr.(Loretta); and Roland Adams Jr.: and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, relatives,neighbors and friends.Memphis Union Mission in memory of Dwayne T.
