Dwayne Lee was born on June 15, 1953 to Melvin Lee and Carnell Johnson, in Lawrence County, Alabama. He departed this life on January 22, 2017 at his residence.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at a young age and joined Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church.
He attended Moulton High School and graduated from Lawrence County High School in 1971. He attended Calhoun Community College where he learned to barber. He then worked at Monsanto in Decatur, Alabama for several years.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents; two children, Corey Dewayne Lee (Katrina) of Montgomery, AL and Tonya Lee Evans (Cedric) of Decatur, AL; six grandchildren, Kanavis Lee, DeAsia Lee, Martavius Lee, Corey Dewayne Lee, Jr., Mycah Lee and Makirah Lee; one great grandchild, Lakyn West; siblings, Calvin Lee, and Dianne Lee Mitchell of Moulton, Charles Lee of Rome, GA, Otis Young of Moulton and Ricky Priest of Dayton, OH; aunts, Erma Donald, Willodean Echols, Emma Owens, Imogene Stevenson all of Moulton; uncles, Blanton Owens (Ruth) of Mequon, WI, Nathaniel Lee (Alice), Clayton Lee (Alice), Bill Lee (Wanda) and John Lee all of Moulton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
