Colchester – Dwayne Aaron Shippee, 41, of Chestnut Rd., died unexpectedly Thursday, July 21, 2016. Born in Honolulu, HI, he was the son of Eileen (Kingsley) Lemelin and Donald Shippee.
He worked as a laborer for Fuller Paving. He attended Norwich Free Academy. He had a great smile and liked to make people laugh. Dwayne was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed all sports and was a big fan of the Boston Red Sox, New York Giants, and the Boston Celtics.
He like to be by the water and enjoyed swimming. Dwayne enjoyed playing pool and cards, and was always up for a party. He loved dogs and had several throughout his life. Dwayne enjoyed cooking and was quite good at it.
But Dwayne had his own road in life since he was very independent. Sometimes this road was quite bumpy.
Dwayne was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. In addition to his parents, Dwayne is survived by his brothers, Ian Michael Shippee, and Kieran Allan Shippee. He was predeceased by his brother, the late Kyle Adam Shippee.
