Dwaine A. Johnson of Deary died Tuesday, July 19th at Good Samaritan Moscow Village. He was 80. Dwaine was born January 9, 1936 at Opportunity, WA to Ike and Goldie Larson Johnson. He grew up and attended schools in Tensed and Plummer. He started working with his father logging at an early age until he was 18 when he then worked various jobs with different logging companies. He and Barbara Mitchell were married in Superior, Montana on February 16, 1958. In 1961 Dwaine started working for Potlatch Forests as a CAT driver, and retired as a foreman in 1996.
