Durwood A. “Curley” Tetreault, 83, of Upton, died Sunday, May 15, 2016 in St. Camillus Health Center in Northbridge after a period of declining health. A well-known local businessman and former selectman, he was the husband of Virginia V. (Poirier) Tetreault.
Curley was born in Richford, VT, the son of the late Ethan and Ila (Blair) Tetreault.
In addition to his wife of 65 years, he leaves three daughters, Andrea Sue Blackler of Upton, Patricia McKinney of Centerville, and Heidi Mathieu of Upton; a sister, Theresa Sullivan of Whitinsville; one brother, Merritt Tetreault of Douglas; one granddaughter and six grandsons; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Owen Tetreault.
