Dula Mae Bryant, 77, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this walk of life on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She was born at Moccasin Creek in Arkansas near Calico Rock, on April 15, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Hearl Sherrell and Mildred (Davis) Sherrell. Dula spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was united in marriage to Gerold Bryant on February 20, 2005, in Franklin, Arkansas.
Dula is survived by her husband, Gerold Bryant of Salem; daughters, Janet Yancey and husband Ronnie of Brockwell, Arkansas, Brenda Hall of Salem, Arkansas, and Paula Taylor and husband R.C. of Oxford, Arkansas; brother, Charles Sherrell and wife Berniece of Oxford, Arkansas; grandchildren, Cassie Hall and wife Shawn of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, C.D. Hall of Glencoe, Arkansas, Chad Singleton and wife Jamie of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Katie Moreno and husband Alec, Jana Rucker of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Chasity Murray of Massachusetts; great grandchildren, Presley, Carson, Jordan, Kylea, Riley, Hunter, Emily, Haley, Caden, and Liam.
Dula was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and a member of the Women on Mission. She enjoyed fishing, her grandchildren, time with her husband, church activities, spending time with family and friends and making people know everything was going to be okay.
