Duane O. Howard, age 67, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008. Born on January 17, 1941, in Plummer, MN, he was the son of Loyde Raymond Howard and Alpha Marmorine Howard. A resident of Boerne since 1982, Duane was a member of the Haven in the Hills Christian Fellowship. An avid hunter, he had been active in the Hill Country Daily Bread Ministry and the Hill Country Family Services. Preceded in death by his parents and wife, LaVon Howard, Mr. Howard is survived by his Son, Loyde Howard; Daughter, Alex Morgan; Step Daughters, Joy Gardner and Jill Weynand; Brothers, Dale Howard and his wife Millie, and Dwight Howard and his wife, Stella; Sisters, Eileen Woell and her husband, Melvin, Ila Eliason and Ina Burman; Numerous Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
