Dr. William D. Wood, 83 of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. He was born in Headland, Alabama in 1932 to the late Willis T. Wood and Flora Cashwell Wood and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Dr.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Eleanor Everson Wood, Lake City; his son, Ricky Wood, Brooklet, GA; his daughter, Vicki Todd, Lake City; two sisters, Cherry Mathis, Apalachacola, FL and Bobbye Glass, Colquitt, GA; one grandson, David Wood, and extended family Angie Wood, Tony Henriques, Miranda Minick, James Walker and Jordan Huber.
