Dr. Roger James Beldt, 64, of Destin passed away peacefully in his home on July 15, 2012.
Roger was a graduate of the University of Florida and Emory University School of Dentistry. He was an accomplished Pharmacist, Dentist and spent most of his life working as a Commercial Airline Pilot, most recently for Northwest Airlines/Delta.
Roger was born June 11, 1948 in Freeport, Illinois, son of the late Raymond E. Beldt and Gladys Rust Beldt.
Roger is preceded in death by his Mother, Gladys Beldt and his father Raymond E. Beldt. Roger is survived by his wife of 34 years, Gisele; daughter, Lindsey Beldt Alvarez (A.J.) of Tampa, Fl.; son, Bret A. Beldt (Megan) of Atlanta, GA.; brother, Richard E. Beldt of Cheyenne, WY and beloved feline friend, Hannah.
Rogers’s true love was flying. He wanted to fly forever and a day. We can now say he is well on his way. . . flying West.
