Dr. Robert (Bob) M. Sullivan, 84, of Cromwell, CT passed away May 3, 2018. Bob was born in Springfield, MA in September 1933. He was the son of William F. Sullivan and Helen Sullivan (Bresnahan). He is survived by his siblings Helen Fitzgerald (Sullivan) and Thomas Sullivan, son Patrick Sullivan, daughter-in-law Lisa Sullivan, son-in-law Sean Carey, grand-daughters Brenna Carey, Sadie Sullivan, Emily Sullivan and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife Frances Jean Sullivan (McPherson) and daughter Colleen Carey (Sullivan), brothers William and John Sullivan, and his sister Margaret (Peggy) Sullivan.
Bob graduated from the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA and Tufts University where he earned his medical degree. He served his country as a Navy doctor where he saw Australia, New Zealand, American Samoa, Hawaii, Antarctica and various places stateside. He met his wife of 54 years, Jean, a Navy nurse, while stationed in Memphis.
