Dr. Joseph Carl Bonck, Sr., age 85, born to Joseph Charles Bonck and Ethel Laura Bonck on September 3, 1931 in Metairie, Louisiana, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 9, 2016. Dr. Bonck practiced medicine in Baker for many years and was once the coroner for East Baton Rouge Parish.
Dr. Bonck is survived by wife, Mary Carol Boykin Bonck; daughters, Cheryl Broussard, and Melanie Rivora, husband, Kyle; son, Joseph C. Bonck, Jr.; step-daughters, Bonnie Johnson, husband Donnie and Lisa Carter, husband David, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Eileen Knight.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Charles and Ethel Bonck.
