Dr. James Dee Prewitt, DVM. Born July 27, 1931 in Manning, Iowa, entered into his final rest on Friday, December 6, 2013. Son of the late Homer and Emma Prewitt. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sylvia Lubelle Prewitt. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Wilma M. Prewitt (Agan). Survived by daughters, Captain Cynthia Ann Timmons and Dr. Darci Lea Prewitt.
As a young boy, James was an Eagle Scout and later certified as a Merit Badge Couselor.
In 1955, James was united in marriage to his lifelong love, Wilma Agan, creating three charming daughters and seven fantastic grandchildren. He was awarded a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1959 and practiced Companion Animal Medicine at Dee Pet Clinic in Florissant, MO.
