LACOBELLE: Dr. Eugene J. Lacobelle, age 82, of Seymour, and formerly of Trumbull, died September 15, 2005 in Griffin Hospital. Dr. Lacobelle was born in South Norwalk, attended Central High School where he was an all state football player. He was admitted to Amherst College and left to serve in the Army Air Force where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge during WW II.. He married Constance Bockenstedt in Chicago where he attended the Chicago College of CHIROPODY and PODIATRIC SURGERY, graduating as a Doctor of Surgery of Chiropody. He practiced Chiropody on North Bpt and also served on the staff of the Dinan Center. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Crest Brook Country Club in Watertown, CT. Survivors include his beloved wife, Constance Bockenstedt Lacobelle of Seymour, his son, Attorney Robert A Lacobelle and his wife, Attorney Kathleen Byrne Lacobelle, his daughter, Attorney Catherine E. Teitell and her husband, the Honorable Robert J. Devlin,Jr. his son, Nicholas J. Lacobelle and his wife, Patricia, all of Huntington, and his daughter, Michele C. Lacobelle of Vestal, N.Y., seven grandchildren, Margaret,and Brigid Lacobelle, Richard J. Teitell, Brendan, Shane, Rachel and Anna Lee Lacobelle and one greatgrandson, Luke Eugene Teitell. He was predeceased by a son, Eugene Richard Lacobelle in 1966.
