Dr. Conrad E. KruseDr. Conrad E. Kruse, 98, of Villanova, PA died on Monday, December 27th, 2021 in Audubon, PA. He was born on September 14, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA. Conrad served in the US Army during WWII and was a Bronze Star recipient. After the War, he earned his undergraduate degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and also received his doctorate in Microbiology from The University of Wisconsin. He held numerous roles in industry and academia, including professorships at Drexel University, Ursinus College, and Temple University. A lifelong learner, he was passionate to study science, education, and technology. He enjoyed conversing with family and friends and building meaningful relationships with the people around him. His family remembers his inquisitive nature, often asking about others rather than discussing himself. Conrad is survived by his grandchildren Brian Eskew (married to Bridget Kelly) and Lauren Eskew (married to Jason Jones) and his great grandchild Etta Eskew (Daughter of Brian and Bridget). He was predeceased by his wife, Anna C. Kruse, and his two children, Karen Eskew and Conrad F. Kruse.
