Bernard served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Bernard was an avid reader and loved to travel.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Jo Throgmorton Myers. Son: Dennis Lee & wife Cynthia Myers of Indianapolis. Diane & husband Dean Siple of Culver, Indiana. Sister: Elanor Sears of Anderson. Brothers: Donald Gene Myers of Anderson and Thomas Emerson & wife Cara Myers of Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Chad W. Myers, Kenny Myers, Nathan Myers and Christopher Fahey. Great Grandchildren: Taylor Myers, C.J. Myers, Madison Myers, Makenzie Myers and Hannah Myers. Several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ralph W. & Ethel Sink Myers. Son: Timothy Myers. Granddaughter: Nanikki Martin. Grandson: Justin Martin Siple. Siblings: Aubrey Jones, Irene Johann, James F. Myers, Floyd B. Myers, Anna Marie Myers and Robert A. Myers.
