Doyle Harrison, 61, of Hudson, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 25, 2019. He was born December 17, 1957 in Worland, Wyoming to Ray and Marval Harrison and grew up on a nearby ranch. After graduating from Worland High School in 1976, he received an Associate degree from Casper College, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Wyoming in 1980. Doyle moved to Chicago in order to learn commercial art in the school of hard knocks. There, his frugal ways served him well as a starving artist. In 1985, he moved to Denver to be closer to his beloved family. In 1987, he began working for Jefferson County in the Planning and Zoning Department. He didn’t expect to be in that job forever, but enjoyed it so much he stayed 32 years. He found satisfaction in continuing his professional development from the days of literal cut and paste to today’s state of the art. He especially enjoyed helping many county departments and organizations with graphic design and technical support to achieve a standard of excellence in their communication with the public.
