Doyle L. Ingram, 73, of Scotia died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul.

Mr. Ingram was born September 14, 1934 in Bucklin, KS to Arthur and Leona (Spencer) Ingram. He lived in Bucklin until moving with his parents to Kremmling, CO when he was five years old. He attended school in Kremmling where he graduated in 1952.

He entered the U.S. Army in May 1952 and served until he received his discharge in June 1955.

Doyle was united in marriage to Marie Cervinka on April 24, 1954 in Steamboat Springs, CO. Doyle worked a lot of his life ranching, including working with his brother, Will and then for the Killian ranch for 15 years in Calhan, CO. Upon retirement, the couple moved to Scotia.

Doyle enjoyed fixing old cars, participating in rodeos, including team roping and bull riding. He especially enjoyed the outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and camping. He also liked to watch football.

He was a former member of the North Star Church in Bucklin, KS where he was baptized. He served as president of the Colorado Angus Association, was a 4-H leader and a member of the Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, Marie of Scotia; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Darlene and Joe Ellis of Fairplay, CO, Brenda and Ken Heersink of Monte Vista, CO and Terri Ingram of St. Paul; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Will and Vangie Ingram of Florence, AZ; and four sisters two brothers-in-law, Rita Belle Stafford of Fort Morgan, CO, Shirley and Frank Martinec and Yvonne Bland of Florence, AZ and Charlene and Ed Reid of Springfield, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bernice Moore and Whaneetha Stimpert and a brother, Robert Ingram.
