Douglass Lee Wilkerson, 65, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, at his residence in Muncie with his family by his side. He was born in Indianapolis, the son of Richard and Jean Rhoten Wilkerson. He grew up in Greenwood where he graduated from Greenwood High School in 1966.
Mr. Wilkerson was a mold maker having worked for several different companies for thirty years prior to retiring.
Douglass enjoyed shooting, fishing and working with old cars.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Parker Wilkerson, to whom he had been married thirty-one years; his daughter, Nicole Zielinski, Indianapolis; his granddaughter, Danielle Zielinski; and his step-son, Adam Wyatt, (wife, Heather), Crossville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald Wilkerson.
