Doug W. Hickmott Age 56 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Sparrow Health Systems.A Time of Remembrance will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Owosso Eagles Club.Doug was born March 3, 1962 in Detroit, the son of Walter and Lavina (Eldridge) Hickmott.He graduated from Corunna High School; Class of 1980 and then attended both Lansing Community College and Michigan State University. Doug enjoyed coaching youth football, keeping stats for Owosso High School Football and dirt bike racing with his sons. He also enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.Doug was employed with Accurate Recovery as the best “damn” Repo Man around.He married Donna Morrow in Jamaica on August 21, 1998.Doug is survived by his wife Donna; his children Kyle (CeCe) Hickmott, Kory Hickmott (Megan Clements), Jonathon Amidon, Ashley (Cary) Knipe, and Matt Hickmott (Angela Newman); three grandchildren Anthony, Eva, Tarrin; father Walter (Donna) Hickmott; siblings Jeff (Angie) Hickmott; Lori Bailey, Rick (Lisa) Hickmott, Jaimee (Jeremy) Nosworthy; brother Brett (Sara) Milks; Brad (Sasha) Milks; three furry friends Stella, Maggie and Duke; and many other loving family and friends.He was predeceased by his mother Lavina and Papa Dukes Wyan Milks.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
