Douglas Traylor of Ortley Beach passed from this life peacefully on Friday January 21, 2022. He was born in Jersey City and moved around north Jersey, before settling down in Ortley Beach. Douglas was a loving husband, devoted father and pop pop. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and golfing. He loved going on vacations with his family, especially to Florida and Disney World. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Douglas is preceded in death by his parents, Ambus Traylor; Mary Sitar Traylor; daughter, Terry Ann Traylor; sister in law, Joanne Traylor and nephew, Little Richard Traylor. Douglas is survived by his wife of 33 years, Florence Tramontano Traylor; daughters, Melanie Traylor, Tammy Traylor; son, Christopher Traylor; brother, Richard Traylor; sister, Patrica Yarussi and her husband Anthony; grandchildren, Matthew, Brian, Brooklyn, and Zachary.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 3pm to 7pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. Committal Services will be held on Friday,
