Douglas Eugene Korinek, born in La Junta, CO on July 16, 1954, passed away May 19, 2022 at the age of 67 in Littleton, CO. He attended Arapahoe High School, graduated in 1972 then went to Metropolitan State College and graduated in 1976 and got his BSA in Aviation Management. Doug loved anything with an engine. He was a mechanic and air plane pilot. Doug got his private pilots license at the age of 15. He loved working on cars, planes and motorcycles.
Doug is survived by Elizabeth Johnson (Wife) of Highlands Ranch CO, Heather Flores (Daughter) (Lesther) of Nicaragua, Nathan Korinek (Son) of Boulder CO, Lynn Wolff (Sister) of Parker CO, Lauri Korinek (Sister) (Neil Sorokin) of Castle Rock CO, Deanna Erpelding (Sister) of Castle Rock CO, and many nieces and nephews.
