Douglas Kane “Big D” Morse, 58, of Niles, died peacefully Sunday morning, June 15, 2014, surrounded by his family in Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Michigan. He was born August 22, 1955 in Niles, Michigan to Franklin and Evelyn (Dollanger) Morse. He married Christina Marie Stuglik December 5, 1987 in Niles. She survives.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and father in law, Joseph Stuglik. Doug was passionate about his family and friends and fishing.
Family and friends will greatly miss Doug. He is survived by his wife, Christina “Tina” (Stuglik) Morse of Niles; one daughter, Rebekah Morse of Niles; two sons, Jeromie Morse and Michael Morse, both of Niles; one brother, Frank (Kathy) Morse, Jr., of Three Rivers; and his mother in law, Betty Stuglik of Niles.
