Douglas Raymond Jacob was born March 5, 1966 to Kenny and Ellen Jacob in Indianapolis, IN. He passed from this life on March 5, 2017 at his home in Grand Junction, CO, surrounded by his family and friends.
Doug grew up in Indianapolis, where he graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School in 1984. He moved to Grand Junction in 1985 to be near the love of his life, Lori Ann Morris. Doug and Lori were married on March 28, 1986. This union was blessed with 3 children. Doug was a loving and gentle husband and father.
Doug received his Journeyman Electrician’s license in 1993 and spent several years working for Quality Electric and Controls.
Doug was preceded in death by his in-laws, Gordon and Elaine Morris, with whom he was very close, and many other loved ones.
Doug is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Lori; children DJ, Brian and wife Madison, and Danielle, all of Grand Junction; parents Kenny and Ellen of Indianapolis, brothers KJ and wife Karon, Rob and wife Julie, and Bruce and wife Lori, all of Indianapolis, grandmother Irena Lewis of Indianapolis, and several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him
