He was born on December 7, 1945. His hobbies included knife collecting, pocket watches, and guns as well as antique clocks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and Creed Howard; brother, Gordon Howard; sister, Frances Sliger. He is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl Howard of Dalton; daughters, Angela Jackson (Mike) of Dalton, GA, and Tammie Cogburn (Jeff) of Chattanooga, TN; 3 grandchildren, Mikalia Jackson, Alikeshia Jackson, and Tyler Jackson, and 6 great-grandchildren.
