Douglas Edward Snyder, passed away on September 17, 2021 at his home. He was born August 7, 1958 in San Jose, California, the son of Sylvia Baikusis and William Snyder.
Doug graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1976, in San Jose, CA.
In 1989 he moved to Utah to work with his brother. In 1990 he married Shelley Sessions, they had two children, they were married 24 years and later divorced, but remained friends.
He worked as an automotive mechanic for most his life. Doug was proud to be Master Automotive Service Excellence Certified (ASE).
Doug loved the outdoors and enjoyed shooting, fishing, and camping. He loved astronomy and would wake up at any time of day to view a meteor shower. Doug loved animals, especially his grand-furbabies. The one thing that could makes his eyes shine were his children and spending time with them.
Survived by his children Daniel (Madison) Snyder and Alyssa Snyder, siblings Bill Snyder, George Snyder and Susan Snyder, many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
