Douglas Richmond was born in Alamance County, NC to Cenie Richmond and Adele McCulley Richmond on February 16, 1931. Following an extended illness, Buster quietly passed into eternal life January 15, 2022. He was a graduate of the Alamance County School System. Buster worked as the Supervising Orderly with what was then Alamance County Memorial Hospital and retired with over 50 years of dedicated service from Alamance Regional Medical Center. He attended First Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting and most of all taking long relaxing car rides.
He leaves loving memories to his devoted and faithful wife of 58 years, Lister Brown Richmond of the home; a son: Eric B. Richmond and his wife Caryn and their children Erica Richmond, Camaryn Richmond; a daughter: Margaret Tinnin “Mollie” and her children Charlotte Turner (Michael) and Michael Tinnin and (Kimberly). Buster also leaves nieces and nephews, sisters-in-laws other relatives and close friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Edward Richmond and Jerome Richmond.
