He is survived by his wife, Jolene Hallman. His children, Lawrence Douglas Hallman Jr, Maurice Whitt, Jimmy Ray Whitt, Lowranzy Whitt, Leigh Ann Hallman, and Sharon Lim. 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His brother, Robert Hallman and his step-mother, Mamie Poss.
