Doug “Boomer” Behmer, 72, passed away Thursday September 11, 2014 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, he worked as an engineer, a salesman, a Salisbury Post newspaper carrier and videographer.
He moved to Salisbury in February 2005 and made many friends everywhere he went.
He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey W. Behmer of Hickory and James D. Behmer of Salisbury, a brother Charles E. Behmer of Durand, IL and his cat “Boomer”.
