Dotty L. Heagy, 67, peacefully returned to her heavenly home in the presence of her friends and family on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA.
Dotty was born to the late Lester and Audrey Johnson, a railroad foreman and a homemaker respectively, in Salt Rock, WV in 1948. Dotty was the owner and CEO of Country and City Realty. She was a loving caregiver during her sister Joni’s prolonged illness. Dotty was loved by her entire extensive family and known for her infectious laugh and tenacious personality.
She is survived by her brother, Fred Johnson and her sister, Jerry Henson both of Chesapeake, VA, and two special sister-in-laws and lifelong friends, Sandy Johnson of Newnan, GA and Drema Johnson of Chesapeake, VA, and her sister-in-law Colette Johnson of Jonesboro, GA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Joni Johnson of Sharpsburg, GA and Jean Berry of Huntington, WV and two brothers, Harold Johnson of Newnan, GA, and Kenny Johnson of Jonesboro, GA.
