Beck, Dorothea G. “Dodie” Formerly of Englewood, Florida Dodie passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Tendercare of Westwood in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born April 18, 1919 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Josephine Jones Gump.
On September 28, 1940, she was united in marriage to Edward R. Beck. She is survived by three children, Judy Richard Whitman of Kalamazoo, Barbara Wendling of South Haven, MI and Thomas Cheryl Beck of Colorado; five grandchildren and eight grandchildren as well as her brother Roy Gump of Wisconsin. Preceding her in death were her husband Edward in 2001; sister, Frances Burrill and two brothers, Edward and Albert Gump.
